Okay I'm here. At the point where my world and the web start dating.
I'm about to immerse myself into the murky world of self publishing a children's book and looking for some company along the way. Are you up for the ride?
Apparently blogging is a relatively painless process, and after 12 months there is even the possibility that a bag full of publishers will be leaving pleading messages on my answer phone and cajoling me with six figure book deals just like in 'Julie and Julia'.
Okay - don't run away, I'm not crazy and I know the chances of this happening are about the same as me waking up without chin hair (I'm 43 and come from good Greek stock - it's a fact of life). However, I'm happy to make my life easier by living with a healthy dollop of optimism and I'm sure once we get to know each other it'll feel good for you too...
Yes I'm using that optimism button again - wishing an audience for what ever comes next. But that's the beauty of this blog - I can wish you all into existence and then pretend that you're here whether you are or not.
So here's to the start of our journey.
You go for it Darl. You know we are your biggest fans and are extremly proud of you.
ReplyDeletethis is so exciting! proud of you, and will be cheering you on every step of the way.....but if you got your chin hairs from your Greek side - doesn't explain where I get my hairiness from!!! lol....Tiana xxx
